Britney Spears has tapped up Michelle Willams to narrate her upcoming memoir The Woman In Me.

The Blue Valentine actress, 43, will voice the Toxic singer’s much-anticipated book, while Britney, 41, herself will record an introduction.

Announcing Michelle’s role, the Womanizer singer said in a statement: ‘This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it.

‘Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook.’

She added to People: ‘I am so grateful to the amazing Michelle Williams for reading the rest of it.’

The Shutter Island star, who had been nominated for five Oscars, said to the publication: ‘I stand with Britney.’

It had been previously reported that Britney had hired a celebrity to narrate her memoir, with it claimed she had first approached Reese Witherspoon, who was unavailable.

The music icon confirmed her book last year, amid reports that she had signed a deal reported to be worth $15 million (£12.3m).

Fans were later given a glimpse into the memoir in July, with the cover art and title unveiled ahead of the release.

Since then, Britney has faced more turmoil in her private life after husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce in August, bringing their 14-month marriage to an end.

However, sources claimed that she gave her ‘final sign-off’ on the book weeks before their split, meaning there will not be ‘any changes made’ to reflect their break-up.

While little else is known about what will make it into those final pages, Britney has previously said she had ‘lots of therapy’ to complete the book.

She previously teased on Instagram: ‘I worked my ass off for this book, I had a lot of therapy to get this book done, so you guys better like it.

‘And if you don’t, that’s cool too.’

The Woman In Me was described as a ‘brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.’

It will ‘illuminate the enduring power of music and love – and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.’

The Woman In Me will be published by Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, and is available to pre order now.

Katie Price’s son Harvey is in hospital with a painful condition.

Just weeks ago the 21-year-old – who suffers from Prader-Willi Syndrome, autism and was born with septo-optic dysplasia, a condition that affects brain function – was rushed to hospital for a problem with his ear.

Now, he is in hospital again with the same issue. As well as his ear problem, the ex-glamour model Katie revealed her son has also cracked his head open again.

In August, Harvey smashed his head through her car window on the way home from a family trip to Devon. Katie, 45, revealed Harvey had become distressed when his ears popped on the motorway.

Glass shattered everywhere, and the kids’ faces looked like a ‘murder scene’ according to Katie, who had to act quickly to calm the situation and get them off the road.

Currently in hospital again, Harvey desperately wants to come home, according to the Mucky Mansion star, who seems to be missing her son.

‘I’m going to go and see Harvey today. He’s not well with his ear,’ Katie revealed on her The Katie Price Show podcast to her younger sister Sophie Price in the latest episode.

When Sophie expressed her sympathy, and noted this ear problem had been going on for a while, Katie continued: ‘It’s so bad now, and he cracked his head open again.

‘He’s got hospital on Monday so I’m going to go and see him, because he’s like, “Mummy can you come and see me,” and then when I see him today he’ll say, “Can you take me home?”‘ shared the mum-of-five.

‘So in a week when I’m back, I will bring him home for a few days,’ she explained.

On a previous podcast episode, in which Katie opened up about the ear condition, the worried mum said: ‘They’ve syringed his ear out at the hospital again yesterday. He’s calling me going [crying] “mum” and all that.

‘Last night when he went to bed they put a bandage around his head to stop him doing that with his ear. So he’s phoning me feeling sorry for himself.’

She continued: ‘All he wants to do is stay in a hotel and I know why, because he wants all the room service. But his behaviour is so bad at the moment and his ear doesn’t help. Like I can bring him home but he will smash everything.’

Katie made the ‘heartbreaking’ decision to put Harvey into full time care back in 2021 when he turned 18 until he is ‘at least 25’.

‘It’s so upsetting to think I won’t see him every day but this is the best thing for Harvey and we have to think positively because I don’t want him to think I’m just getting rid of him,’ she told The Sun at the time.

‘I need to learn to let go but it’s tough – anyone in my position knows how hard it is,’ she added. 

This comes after Peter Andre – father of Katie’s two children Princess, 16, and Junior, 18 – revealed he and partner Emily MacDonagh announced they are expecting a child together.

As well as her eldest Harvey – whose dad is football coach Dwight Yorke – Katie shares Jett, 9, and Bunny 8, who she shares with dancer Kieran Hayler.

Ewan McGregor spilled some piping hot tea during his appearance at New York Comic Con, as he shared some very controversial tips on how to make the perfect cuppa.

The actor, who will soon be appearing in the hotly-anticipated TV adaptation of Amor Towles’ novel A Gentleman in Moscow, was the subject of a spotlight panel at NYCC 2023 on Thursday, but was unable to discuss much of his career due to the ongoing Sag-Aftra strike in Hollywood.

Instead, the 52-year-old delighted the audience at the Javits Center with a chat about his love of motorbikes, his efforts on the West End and where he shops for knitwear.

However, he dropped a bombshell during the talk that was nothing to do with Star Wars, and everything to do with his tea preferences.

‘I’ve just finished working in Great Britain. [It was] the longest stretch in Britain, for me, since I left in 2008,’ he began. ‘I started drinking tea again in the afternoon there because it just naturally happens.

‘I like it but I tend to find it difficult to get a good cup of tea here in America. You’re never far from a good coffee, though.’

Nothing ignites a debate in the UK quite like whether to put the milk or tea in first, with scientists recently getting involved to put an end to the whole thing.

When asked how he takes his tea, Trainspotting star Ewan waded cup-first into the discussion, firmly planting himself as a milk-first man, continuing: ‘Tea is important. In America, it’s an art that’s maybe not known.

‘The best way to make tea is to make it in a teapot. So, you get your teapot – I can hear my grandmother in my head – and you have to heat the pot. I don’t know why, there’s different theories about why that is.

‘You get the boiling water and pour it in the teapot, rinse it around to heat the pot, and pour it out. Then you put the tea bags in and add the water.

‘You have to leave it for more than three minutes. Less than three minutes, you get a good color, but you don’t get a good taste. But after three minutes, you get both, and that’s what you’re after.

‘When you pour the tea in a cup, there’s another rule – in Scotland, anyway – that you have to put the milk in.

‘In a proper British cup of tea, you put the milk in first. A little splash of milk and then the tea.’

He jokingly added: ‘I don’t do sugar or honey. I’m sweet enough.’

A survey taken out by Censurwide in 2022 showed that 20% of UK tea drinkers follow the Hollywood star’s efforts and put the milk in first.

Some have suggested that this was to prevent delicate china from cracking before adding boiling hot water.

Unfortunately for Ewan and co, scientists have revealed that adding cold milk to your mug first actually lowers the temperature of the boiled water, meaning your tea won’t brew as effectively.

Jake McMullon, expert tea buyer and blender at Ringtons, previously said: ‘To get the best infusion possible, add your tea first, brew to your taste, then add the milk after,’ says Jake.

‘This also means that you can better judge the strength of your tea, as milk will affect the color and aroma.’

Maybe leave the brews to someone else, Ewan…

Amir Khan’s wife, Faryal Makhdoom, has issued stern words for fellow influencers amid the Israel-Hamas war.

Terrorist group Hamas launched attacks on Israel last week, with a war later declared as the Israeli government responded with airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, a narrow piece of Palestinian land bordering Israel.

Thousands of lives have been lost on both sides and more injured, while 200,000 people have been made homeless in Gaza.

Hamas has called for the ‘annihilation’ of Israel and over the years has carried out numerous bombings on the country, with the group deemed a terrorist group in its entirety as of 2021.

As celebrities weigh in on the ongoing conflict, Pakistani YouTuber Faryal, 32, took to social media to urge her one million followers to show support for Palestine.

She shared a number of pro-Palestine posts on Instagram, beginning by writing: ‘Can we all just ask ourselves who started all this???’.

‘For years and years and years’, she added of the oppression of Palestinians by Israeli people.

Faryal then reposted a quote from another account, declaring: ‘Apparently All Lives Matter except those in Gaza’.

In a later post, Faryal said: ‘If you’re afraid of showing support to Palestine because you don’t want to lose friends, followers or opportunities, you’re part of the problem.’

She added that her ‘heart bleeds’ for her ‘people’, alongside a devastating video of a woman grieving over a dead relative’s body.

Ripping into Palestinian influencers, Faryal branded them a ‘disgrace’ for not addressing the conflict.

‘Why am I seeing Palestinian influencers on my feed not talking about their own country?’, she asked. ‘F***ing disgrace.’

Faryal also mocked: ‘You’ll lose a few brand deals. Boo f***ing hoo.’

Taking her thoughts to her main feed, the champion boxer’s wife shared a glamorous photo of herself and a caption with a clear message.

‘Always stand for what’s right. No matter what the consequences are 🖤’, she penned.

Faryal was praised by many in the comments for ‘using her platform’.

‘Massive respect to you Faryal, keep speaking up! 👏’, one person wrote.

‘Thank YOU for using your platform to shed light on our brothers and sisters in Palestine 👏👏👏❤️’, said another.

Faryal’s words come after Amir also voiced his support for Palestine.

In a lengthy tweet, the athlete insinuated people were fearful of ‘speaking [their] mind’ and supporting Palestine.

‘My entire career, my aim was to become a champion and use my fame and influence to make a positive change in the world,’ he began.

‘I’ve never been scared to speak my mind and stand up for the downtrodden.’

‘Recently when Ukraine was attacked by Russia, I personally flew to Poland to support the Ukrainian refugees who had been displaced by the effects of war,’ Amir explaind.

‘So many people spoke up about these atrocities but as the world watches what is unfolding in Palestine, I see so many of my peers, friends and colleagues who are remaining silent. Why?

‘It’s become apparent that people are scared to show their support for Palestine. Palestinian lives matter.’

‘The world will remember who spoke up and who didn’t,’ he declared. ‘And God will remember who stayed silent while innocent Muslims’ blood was spilled.’

Amir and Faryal are the latest stars to show support for Palestine in the wake of the attacks.

However, some stars have been criticised for their use of social media at this time.

Kim Kardashian was slammed by the internet for a statement she issued and was accused of making the war ‘about herself.’

The reality star, 42, sent a message to her ‘Jewish friends’ to remind them that they ‘are not alone’.

Kim then said she is ‘particularly sensitive to these issues’ as an American because she has been ‘talking about the Armenian Genocide for years’.

‘Armenians are the victims of an ethnic cleansing themselves in Artsakh. They are in this moment also suffering from an extreme humanitarian crisis, and there are still prisoners of war being held captive or missing.’

The Skims founder went on to urge her 364million followers to remember to ‘have room for compassion towards innocent victims’.

Her post soon sparked backlash, however, with people pointing out the complex and murky relationship between Israel and the systemic massacres and deportations of Armenians committed by the Ottoman Empire during and after the First World War.

Justin Bieber also deleted a post after he too was criticised for urging people to ‘pray for Israel’ alongside a picture of an obliterated Gaza.

The 29-year-old Baby hitmaker later replaced his message with a plain background, writing: ‘Truly hurting for both my Israeli and Palestinian friends. Im pretty sure we all instinctively know evil when we see it. To vilianize all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong. I’m not interested in choosing sides, but i am interested in standing with the families who have been brutally taken from us.’

The star was 17 at the time this was taken, and the now-54 year old here strikes apose that would actually later mimic his most iconic, taloned role.

The mystery teen in the picture has actually just announced his divorce from wife Deborra-Lee Furness after 27 years of marriage.

The Wolverine star looks nothing like his younger self in this throwback snap he posted on social media yesterday, alongside the caption: ‘I was maybe 17. I was the assistant (to the assistant) of the footy team.’

Around this time, Hugh would have been at all-boys Knox Grammar School on Sydney’s Upper North Shore, where he got his first taste of the spotlight when he starred in a production of My Fair Lady.

He then spent a gap year teaching physical education at expensive English boarding institution, Uppingham School, before heading back to Sydney for his BA in Communications. In his final year, Hugh took a drama course for extra credits and seemingly never looked back.

The star has been getting out and about since news of his divorce broke in September.

He was recently spotted at an NFL game spending the day with best friend Ryan and Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy, as well as Taylor Swift.

The Logan star also recently helped out at God’s Love kitchen, cooking and delivering ‘medically tailored meals’ for people with ‘chronic or serious illness’.

Following their split, Hugh and Deborra-Lee, 67, shared a joint statement to People, which said: ‘We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.

‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.

‘We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.’

Hugh and Deborra-Lee first met in 1995 and quickly fell in love, getting engaged after only three months.

They married the following April in Australia and later adopted their children Oscar, 23, and Ava, 18.

It’s been rumoured Hugh is working on a tell-all memoir that will include details of his divorce.

An insider revealed: ‘Hugh’s choosing to [write this book] now because he’s finally [being] honest with himself [and] the divorce.’

They also told Us Weekly that the actor will be ‘opening up about his life like never before,’ and that the process of writing the memoir has been ‘very healing.’

Helen Skelton has finally admitted that her estranged husband Richie Myler blindsided her when they split, speaking for the first time about her ordeal in her new book.

The former Countryfile host, 40, announced she and the England and Leeds Rhinos rugby star’s split in April last year, and their divorce was announced this summer.

The former couple share three children – Ernie, eight, Louis, six, and Elsie, 22 months.

Taking to Instagram to share the heartbreaking news at the time – which came after eight years of marriage and just four months after they welcomed their third child together – the former Strictly contestant announced the split: ‘Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple.

‘He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.’ She also posted two heartbroken emoji.

Following their split, the star’s ex welcomed a baby with his new partner 33-year-old Stephanie Thirkill, 33 – the daughter of rugby league club Leeds Rhinos president Andrew.

Now, Helen has opened up in her new autobiography, In My Stride – out today – about the turbulent time, finally admitting her husband’s departure came as a big shock.

She wrote: ‘I was in shock. I know that following break-ups, people often say they didn’t see it coming and it sounds like a cliché, but that was me.’

Looking back, Helen was said to have feared work, children, and their house renovation project could have ‘consumed her’ and led her to miss ‘signs’ of her marriage not working. She also considered she might have just ‘ignored’ them.

It’s also been reported she struggled to tell her parents about the split, and kept it a secret until her dad paid her an unexpected visit and the truth came tumbling out.

Helen’s heartbreak led her to sign up for Strictly last year, and she was paired with partner Gorka Marquez, who she recalled asked her why did didn’t feel sexy.

She reportedly said: ‘He was asking a woman with three children under six, whose husband had just left her and was with another woman, TO BE SEXY.

‘I thought, ‘Who would feel good about themselves in that scenario?’.’

But the show grew her confidence, and eventually Helen performed a boss routine which gave her – what her choreographer called – a ‘f*** you’ moment.

According to he publication, Helen said: ‘We had found a dance which let me own my own moment and be the boss.’

The Strictly finalist had been hosting her own Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 5 Live for a year, until she announced her departure in August.

Keeping it real, Helen explained that she was struggling to juggle the gig alongside her other presenting work and looking after three kids as a single mum.

Around the same time, Helen admitted she felt ‘guilty’ over beginning to date again.

‘Helen’s family and friends encouraged her to get back out there and she was happy to dip her toe back into the dating scene,’ a source told Closer Magazine.

The source continued: ‘But she has had some wobbles and found herself feeling guilty. She’s concerned about who to let into her life and worried about being judged for any decisions she makes.

‘There have also been some people who have made comments about her not trying hard enough to make it work with Richie, and it’s made her think about her marriage and what went wrong. 

‘Ultimately, she knows she tried everything she could, and once the trust was broken there was just no going back. But dating again has brought up some unexpected feelings that she’s been struggling with.’

Joe Jonas is reportedly ‘furious’ at Taylor Swift for ‘meddling’ in his divorce from Sophie Turner.

The Jonas Brothers singer, 34, and Game of Thrones actress, 27, issued a shocking statement last month, confirming that they were separating after four years of marriage and two children together.

Joe and Sophie’s split has been anything but private, with a messy custody battle ensuing.

A spanner was then thrown into the works when Sophie was spotted on nights out with friend Taylor, 33, who was in a relationship with Joe herself many moons ago.

According to reports, Joe believes this could complicate things.

As reported by Heat Magazine, Joe believes Sophie and Taylor’s budding sisterhood could make the divorce ‘messier’ than it needs to be, following his filing due to ‘irreconcilable differences.’

‘Joe is disgusted by the way Taylor is trying to turn this into some mean-girl high school game,’ the insider said.

‘This is so much bigger than a break-up. This is about the well-being and future of his and Sophie’s kids.

‘Joe will go to the ends of the Earth to keep his daughters close, and if that means going to battle with Taylor, then so be it.’

The source claimed Joe believes Taylor ‘may think she’s coming out of this looking cute’, but he reckons she is being ‘incredibly immature.’

These alleged concerns from Joe come after Grammy-winner Taylor reportedly offered Sophie her penthouse apartment in New York City, where she’s been staying while navigating their legal woes.

However, it’s said this act of kindness didn’t go down well with Joe either.

The insider added that ‘right off the bat, Taylor steamed in and made a point of adopting Sophie’ and ‘being her shoulder to cry on.’

‘Now Taylor’s offering Sophie her apartment in New York, and that was the straw that broke the camel’s back for Joe.’

In the latest development in the very public split, Joe – who has Willa, three, and Delphine, one, with Sophie – has filed to dismiss his divorce case against Sophie following mediations.

According to court documents, the pop star reportedly filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution in Miami.

Instead, the estranged couple plan to ‘pursue an amicable resolution of all issues’ after reaching ‘various agreements’ during mediation, according to Page Six.

The court documents obtained by the publication only pertain to Joe’s petition which he filed on September 1 – the state of British actress Sophie’s UK divorce case is unknown.

Agreeing on custody of their children has been anything but a smooth ride for Joe and Sophie, but they have now reached a temporary agreement.

It is believed their girls will spend two weeks at each parent’s home at a time, with Thanksgiving spent at their dad’s and Christmas with their mum.

Releasing a statement, the famous duo said: ‘After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK.

This temporary agreement comes to an end on January 7, with the parents’ agreement requiring that before December 2023, ‘the parties shall jointly submit a status report letter’.

Katie Price has admitted her numerous cosmetic procedures have left her looking like a ‘freak’.

The 45-year-old former glamour model and reality star has always been candid about having undergone so many different surgeries including boob jobs, fillers, Botox and nose jobs.

Now, she has confessed to going ‘too far’ with certain procedures, and she is worried she’s started to look like an ‘alien’.

‘I know sometimes when I have gone too far. I have been there done it with all the fillers. I don’t have fillers now,’ she told the Go Love Yourself podcast.

‘I do in my lips and I have Botox because it got to the point where my face just looked like a balloon. Like really shiny.

‘I am starting to look alien. It is purely for me, that’s the difference.’

Over the summer, Katie revealed she underwent multiple procedures including a Brazilian butt lift, eye, chin and lip surgery, and liposuction.

Now she has admitted she still doesn’t think she’s ‘good looking’, and she feels like she could been suffering from body dysmorphia.

‘I have never thought I’m good looking and I still don’t,’ she added. ‘Maybe I have got body dysmorphia, and I have to admit I have got body dysmorphia because I am always changing stuff.’

Although Katie insisted she can recognise the moments she’s taken things a step too far, she is still planning to ‘continue the journey’.

She said: ‘I am fine at the minute. I am getting my lips done this week. I don’t need to do anything yet, but I will. I will still continue the journey and probably look like a freak in about ten years, but that’s me.’

She claimed she’s ‘not done yet’, despite noticing people looking at her in recognition of her surgeries.

‘I’ll let you know when I am happy with my looks. But the thing is, I am starting to look like where people would either,’ she explained.

‘They look at me where they know who I am, I don’t mean that in a big headed way, or they think she has had surgery. You know sometimes when you see an old lady and her hands are wrinkly but her face is pulled up…

‘She probably thinks you are looking because she looks good, when really you are like, “f***ing hell what have you done to your face? It looks awful…” ‘

Julia Fox is never one to do fashion by halves, but her day-to-night outfits in New York this week were quite something.

The Uncut Gems star rocked up to the Sherri Show in a daring ensemble – although some would call it tame for the woman who exposed all in a metal bikini, wore an outfit made of condoms, and somehow made a shower curtain look chic.

Wearing all white, Julia showcased her toned abs in a frilly crop top and even wore her underwear over a pair of baggy trousers.

Adding to her height, the 33-year-old had on a pair of 10-inch strappy platform heels that really looked like they could do some damage.

In contrast, she carried her essentials in a sweet heart-shaped purse.

When it came to the nighttime, however, that’s when Julia really brought the shock factor.

Once again showing off her toned physique, Julia wore an off-the-shoulder bra top – but one wrong move and she would’ve exposed more than she perhaps would have liked to.

While the black bottoms look simple from the front, when Julia turned around, passersby got an eyeful as her whole bum was on show.

Yep, there was a heart cut-out in the back, leaving extremely little to the imagination and undoubtedly turning heads on the busy streets of NY.

But in true Julia style, she strutted her stuff with confidence and sass, at one point throwing her long brunette locks back for an over-the-shoulder shot.

Julia is no stranger to a bold look or two, having made headlines on numerous occasions over the past year since making herself known as a quirky fashion icon when dating Kanye West.

Speaking about her style, Julia previously said she’s ‘providing a service’ and we couldn’t agree more.

Last year, she posted on her Instagram that she ‘decided to walk to increase the chances of being papped cuz the world needs this look.’

Then, in an interview with People, she was asked about the post.

‘Well, I mean, you pick and choose. Sometimes the paparazzi get me, and I look like s**t, you know? If they’re gonna get me, I might as well make the best of it,’ she said.

‘I feel like I’m doing a service. I’m providing a service. Yeah, a visual service.’

Most recently, the US star spoke frankly about her whirlwind romance with rapper Kanye, 46, which occurred following his split from Kim Kardashian, 42, and before his marriage to Bianca Censori, 28.

Amid the pages of her new memoir, Down The Drain, Julia admitted things weren’t so glam behind the scenes.

According to PageSix, Julia claimed that she met Kanye – who she only referred to as ‘the artist’ – when a friend asked if they could give him her number.

After text messages and ‘dozens of phone calls’, in which ‘he talked for hours and she mostly listened’, he is thought to have invited her to spend New Year’s Eve in Miami, providing a private jet for her friends.

When she arrived at the club, the mom-of-one claimed the Grammy-winner hugged her tightly and led her to speak in the parking lot outside, where he unzipped his trousers to urinate, before kissing her ‘passionately’.

Julia later claimed to feel like a ‘show monkey’ when she was presented with racks of clothes to give herself an image transformation.

In an extract obtained by The Guardian, she said the Gold Digger hitmaker offered to pay for her boob job, which she turned down.

‘We spend the day playing Uno and a game that involves highlighting positive words in the dictionary,’ she wrote, claiming that he told her: ‘I’ll get you a boob job if you want.’

S Club paid tribute to their late friend and bandmate Paul Cattermole as they kickstarted their reunion tour in Manchester.

The group, now made up of Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O’Meara and Rachel Stevens, made sure to remember Cattermole on Wednesday night as their 25th anniversary Good Times reunion tour got underway at the AO Arena.

The Reach hitmakers were back together on stage for the first time since he died of natural causes aged of 46 in April, and they took a moment to pay their respects.

As reported by the MailOnline, the band left the stage partway through the set as the lights dimmed and a video montage of their friend appeared on the screen, featuring footage of him performing with the group.

Returning to the stage after the powerful and emotional moment, Jon said: ‘Manchester, let me hear you raise the roof one last time for Paul!’

‘Wow that’s our brother right there man,’ Bradley added. ‘Gone but you will never be forgotten. We miss you every single day.’

Through the show, each member of the group – who are also without former bandmate Hannah Spearritt for the tour after she decided against being part of the reunion after her ex’s death – took the time to offer their own tributes to Cattermole.

‘Thank you all so much. All the messages and love and support that you’ve all showed of us and Paul’s family – we are so grateful to every single one of you,’ Jo told the crowd.

‘I would just love to see every single one of you in here right now to show us your hearts for our Paul!’

Tina said: ‘Tonight is a celebration, so let’s Bring It On Back for Paul!’

And Jon added: ‘Thank you so much. It’s very special for us this evening obviously. we dedicate this performance to Paul and The British Heart Foundation.’

The band also performed their latest single These Are The Days in his memory, having started work on the track before his death.

‘For twenty years now people have been asking me – when are you guys going to release new music? So we thought this year, let’s do it,’ Tina explained to the crowd, while Bradley added: ‘And we did. We dedicated this song to Paul and all of the memories we shared.’

The night marked the band’s first gig with Jon and Rachel since May 2015, and the band got the night started with S Club Party before launching into a hit-filled set including Good Times, You’re My Number One and Never Had A Dream Come True.

For the last track of the night, the group went back to S Club Party to bring the celebratory night to an joyous end.

Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen has proved she knows exactly how to capture a crowd but, aside from her indisputable talent, she has admitted to having a bit of a helping spiritual hand to aid her success.

Introducing herself to the global stage with a bang in 2012 in Baku, the singer-songwriter snatched the Eurovision Song Contest’s first-place prize with her entry Euphoria.

Over a decade later Loreen took another punt, this time in Liverpool at the 2023 contest in May, and was crowned the winner once more thanks to her performance of the absolute banger Tattoo. She became the first-ever female artist to win the annual contest twice and has rightfully cemented her place in Eurovision history.

But the Swedish icon, who has a concert tour and more music on the way after her record-breaking Eurovision feat, may have something else in her arsenal that could be part of the key to her extraordinary success – and it’s something spiritual, something on another plane.

Ahead of her sold-out UK and Ireland tour, Loreen, 39, shed light on the mystery surrounding her ability to put on phenomenally feel-good performances time and time again. 

Labelling her an ‘Earth angel’, fans were mesmerised by her stage presence and begged for more online, exclaiming that watching her was like a ‘religious experience’ that ‘entered [their] soul’. 

Explaining why she invited a spiritual healer to sit in the audience as she performed to ensure the Liverpool Arena was on her same frequency, she told Metro.co.uk: ‘It’s all about generating a certain type of energy, you can open that thing up in you.

‘It’s like when you feel in love there’s a certain energy that you have in your body and when you feel negative, there’s a certain energy that you resonate with – it’s like waves, people get affected by that.

‘I did have a healer,’ she added. ‘What I did was, before every performance, me and the healer outside – we meditated, generating a lot of love, resonating that.

‘What you send out, people will feel and I wanted so badly to create this beautiful energy in that sphere that we were in.’

Loreen further divulged how she is incorporating the idea of energies and frequencies into her upcoming tour dates, and she’s promised a ‘healing’ experience for her fans.  

She said: ‘If you come to one of my shows, I’m very much aware that certain frequencies and sounds connect with certain parts of your body.

‘There are frequencies that open the heart up for love and then there are sounds that open the communicating chakra so I’ve built this into my show. It’s going to be one big healing party.’ 

For Loreen, who was already famous in her native Sweden before taking part in the song contest having risen to fame on Sweden’s Idol 2004 TV competition, many wondered why she was putting herself back out there again at Eurovision 11 years after scoring the top spot.

‘I love Eurovision because it is the definition of where we’re going, where there are no prejudices,’ she reasoned.

‘You can be whatever you want to be and this is so important for us to understand that we can become what we feel we are.’

With a challenging family history behind her, it’s no wonder Loreen – real name Lorine Zineb Nora Talhaoui – wanted to break out into the freeing, glamorous world of music, somewhere she could just express herself wholeheartedly.

‘My mother left poverty as a 14-year-old girl leaving Morocco, just fleeing from her family and everything and had me when she was 16.

‘She changed her whole life – no education, no nothing, just deciding what she wanted.

‘She knew that she was going to live this life. She created a life that she imagined. So this was my first encounter of somebody like that who created something out of nothing.’

As for stripping herself of her Eurovision labels and going it alone, Loreen admitted she’s feeling ‘naked’ ahead of releasing her new single Is It Love. 

‘I can’t tell if I’m nervous or excited,’ she said, buzzing with energy.

‘When you release something, it’s almost like saying, “So this is me”, and then people will be like, “Well, maybe I like you. Maybe I don’t like you.” 

‘It’s a very vulnerable space to be in where you’re like, “Oh God, I’m naked now”.’

While her music career has been peppered with ‘ups and downs’, Loreen is now in a space of hope, and is full of encouragement for others to channel her same energy in such a turbulent world. 

‘It’s all about what we decide to focus on. If we have a conversation where it’s like everything is going to go to hell and it is over, I might as well just not give a f**k, you know? 

‘That energy is really heavy and it takes us in a direction that separates us where we don’t want to take responsibility, like it’s doomed anyways – which it is not. 

‘I truly believe that as a humankind, life is going to push us so much that we’re being forced into really changing things on a deeper level.

‘We’re heading the right direction but we need to just move a little bit faster!’

After a turbulent few months, Joe Jonas has filed to dismiss his divorce case against Sophie Turner after mediations.

The once low-key private couple were thrust into the spotlight with their shock announcement and messy rumours surrounding the split.

A dramatic accusation in Sophie’s court documents that Joe, 34, was withholding their daughters’ passports – Willa, three, Delphine, one- from Sophie, 27, added fuel to the fire.

She has been staying in New York ever since, crashing at Taylor Swift’s home as they underwent mediations.

Sophie has been living her best life and enjoying football games with her friend – she even posted a cryptic friendship bracelet on her story before deleting it again.

In the latest court documents, the Jonas Brother has reportedly filed to dismiss his petition for dissolution in Miami.

Instead, they plan to ‘pursue an amicable resolution of all issues’ after reaching ‘various agreements’ during mediation, according to Page Six.

The court documents obtained by the publication only pertain to Joe’s petition which he filed on September 1 – the state of Sophie’s UK divorce case is unknown.

Custody has been a contentious issue between the two but the pair have reached a temporary agreement.

Its believed the girls will spend two weeks at each parent’s home at a time, with Thanksgiving spent at their dad’s and Christmas with their mum.

Releasing a statement, the famous duo said: ‘After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK.’

This temporary agreement comes to an end on January 7, with the parents’ agreement requiring that before December 2023, ‘the parties shall jointly submit a status report letter’.

Back in September, the couple announced they were calling it quits ‘after four wonderful years’ in a statement shared to their respective Instagram accounts.

Sophie and Joe married in a Las Vegas wedding chapel in 2019 before a second wedding in France months later.

The Vegas wedding was meant to be a secret but was actually leaked by their friend Diplo – he was still invited to the second wedding.

Rudolph Isley – the founding member of The Isley Brothers – has died aged 84.

The singer, who had hits For the Love of You, Twist and Shout, and This Old Heart of Mine (Is Weak For You) with The Isley Brothers, reportedly died on Wednesday.

‘There are no words to express my feelings and the love I have for my brother,’ said Isley’s brother, Ronald Isley.

‘Our family will miss him. But I know he’s in a better place,’ he added to the Rolling Stone in a statement.

TMZ shared that the cause of death is currently unconfirmed, but an insider told the publication that it is believed he had a heart attack.

The band, which is considered one of America’s best R&B and soul groups, began when Isley was just a teenager in 1954 after he originally began singing at church.

Isley founded the music group The Isley Brothers alongside his siblings -Ronald, O’Kelly, and Vernon. Vernon was tragically hit by a car while riding his bike and died aged 13.

In the late 1950s, the three brothers moved to New York from Ohio and they quickly started to see success.

Single Shout sold over one million copies, and It’s Your Thing, which was released by their own label T-Neck Records label, won a Grammy award.

In 1973, they welcomed three new members – younger brothers Ernie Isley who played lead guitar and drums and Marvin Isley, who was on bass guitar.

Isley married Elaine Jasper in 1958, and his brother-in-law Chris Jasper took on keyboard and synthesizers.

Ronald often took lead vocals, while O.Isley and R.Isley took backing vocals. R.Isley also recorded a few lead vocals and was a regular songwriter for the group.

The six-piece released best-selling albums including 3 + 3, Between the Sheets, and The Heat Is On, which reached number on the Billboard 200 chart.

Isley left the music industry in 1989 to become a Christian minister but reunited with the group over the years.

The Isley Brothers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992 for their achievements.

Isley and Elaine lived in New York before moving to Illinois’ Olympia Fields in 2013.

The only surviving Isley Brothers are now Ronald and Ernie.

Queen guitarist Sir Brian May has said the death of his driver of over 30 years has been ‘one of the saddest days of my life.’

The We Will Rock You hitmaker, 76, paid tribute to his ‘dearest friend’ Phil Webb, who died suddenly of a heart attack on Wednesday evening (October 11).

In a tribute posted on Instagram, Sir Brian described Webb as ‘the kindest and most decent man I have ever had the pleasure to meet’ and shared pictures of himself and his wife Anita Dobson, 74, with him.

He wrote: ‘This is one of the saddest days of my life. Last night we lost Phil Webb to a heart attack. Phil, my dedicated driver for over 30 years was my family’s dearest friend and protector and the kindest and most decent man I have ever had the pleasure to meet.

‘We are all devastated and join with Phil’s wife and son in grieving for the last man on Earth to deserve this much too early passing away.

‘Bless you dear Phil – we all love you. We’re proud of the life you led, and forever grateful for everything you gave us – more than any words could ever describe.’

The We Are The Champions performer was flooded with messages of condolences from his 3.2m followers, with one writing: ‘Ohhhh my heart is hurting for you, and for his family! Sending my heartfelt condolences 😢.’

‘This is so awful, I’m so sorry for your loss, Brian. I’ll be thinking of you during this terribly difficult time, sending love,’ another shared, while a third penned: ‘Condolences to his family and yours. I’ve seen pictures of you two together over the years. Heartbreaking and he will not be easily replaced.’

Webb’s death comes a month after Sir Brian posted an emotional tribute to Freddie Mercury on what would have been his 77th birthday.

Alongside a photo of Freddie strumming on a guitar, the Bohemian Rhapsody chart-topper wrote: ‘At the time this photo was taken I’m sure it didn’t seem very important to see Freddie’s fingers dancing on my own home-made guitar.

‘Now it summons up waves of affection and great memories. He is so missed.’

Sir Brian also recently shared his sadness after 34,000 of Mercury’s personal possessions were put up for auction by Sotheby’s.

The Killer Queen musician wrote: ‘Tomorrow while I’m speaking passionately to Welsh farmers about cows and badgers and bovine TB, Freddie’s most intimate personal effects, and writings that were part of what we shared for so many years, will go under the hammer, to be knocked down to the highest bidder and dispersed forever.

‘I can’t look. To us, his closest friends and family, it’s too sad. Thanks @magnolia_stereos for finding the pic. I don’t know the credit. Bri.’

Mercury died on November, 24, 1991 aged 45 from bronchial pneumonia due to AIDS-related complications.

Peter Andre is about to become a dad for the fifth time and while his daughter Princess has offered her congrats, Junior – who previously said he doesn’t want another sibling – has remained quiet.

The Mysterious Girl singer shared the good news on Instagram that he and his wife Emily MacDonagh, 34, are expecting their third child together.

‘We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024. The kids are so excited. So are we,’ Peter, 50, wrote with a picture of the ultrasound.

After meeting in 2012, the pair tied the knot three years later and have welcomed daughter Amelia, nine, as well as son Theo, six.

Peter also has two teenage children with ex-wife Katie, 45, who he is incredibly close to.

His eldest Junior, 18, has not commented on the new baby, having previously revealed he wasn’t keen on the idea of another sibling due to fears over a big age gap.

When asked if he’d like to have another sibling, Junior told The Mirror in a joint interview with dad Pete back in 2021: ‘No, because I think the age gap would be too big. If Emily got pregnant now that means the baby would be born when I’m almost 17 and I don’t think the same strong bond would be there. 

‘I’ll be close to moving out of the house. I want to be the big brother they love so much and not someone they hardly ever see. I have six siblings already so there are quite a few of us.’  

But 16-year-old daughter Princess – who is about to tour with her mum – has responded to the news.

‘Congratulations [red heart emoji],’ wrote Princess among supportive comments from other celebrity friends like Amanda Holden, Vicky Pattinson, and Claire Richards.

In the same interview that Junior revealed he hasn’t keen on another sibling, Peter said ‘hell to the no!’ to having more kids but had ‘this year to decide’.

He added: ‘I did say we had this year to decide and I didn’t want to be changing nappies after I’m 50, but because of Covid I’ve pushed it back a year to 51!’

Junior and Princess also have brothers Harvey, 21, and Jett, 10, as well as sister Bunny, nine.

The father of Jett and Bunny, Kieran Hayler, also commented well wishes for the happy couple, matching Princess’s sentiments, writing: ‘Congratulations ❤️.’

Brooklyn Beckham seemed totally unbothered by the pain of having a tattoo as he hilariously tucked into pie and mash while receiving his latest piece.

The former model and son of football ace David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is no stranger to getting inked, with more than 100 pieces adorning his body.

More than 20 of those are dedicated to his wife Nicola Peltz as he continues to amass a body art collection just like his heavily tattooed father.

And it seems that Brooklyn, 24, shares his dad’s love of pie and mash as he enjoyed a plate of the East End favourite as he got tattooed recently.

A picture posted to Instagram of the socialite saw him getting work done by artist Certified Letter Boy on his leg while holding a dish from Waltham Cross eatery Tony’s Traditional Pie & Eel House.

David’s love of the traditional dish is well known, with him frequently taking trips with his family to his favourite haunt Tony’s Pie & Mash Shop near Leytonstone where he grew up.

Brooklyn had the word ‘brotherhood’ inked on his leg alongside brothers Romeo, 21, and Cruz, 18.

Their new tattoos were unveiled by London-based fine line tattoo artist Pablo, also known as Certified Letter Boy.

He took to Instagram last week to share a glimpse of the trio in his studio, with Brooklyn choosing to get his tattoo on his leg above his dancing lady ink.

Romeo also got his on his leg above an eagle design, while Cruz got the tat on his hand.

Brooklyn also has his wedding vows on his arm, which read: ‘Nicola when you walked down the aisle you took my breath away you look so beautiful tonight and always.

‘Let me start by saying that words cannot even describe my love for you just looking at you I see my future and it feels like a dream.

‘You are my world and I continue to fall more in love with you every single day.’

David has also been known to express his love for his other half in the form of tattoos, having got his own first tat in 1999 and since acquiring plenty of intricate designs for wife Victoria.

Cruz is also building up quite the collection despite only having his first tattoo recently to commemorate his 18th birthday.

Helen Skelton is close to her dad but thank goodness she brought him to the Sports Personality Awards, where he ‘rescued’ Sally Nugent.

The 52-year-old journalist is one of the top presenters on the BBC, recently urging Chief International Correspondent, Lyse Doucet, to safety amid the broadcast.

While she can deliver hard hitting news, Sally is also seen looking glamorous at events, attracting some ‘admirers’ according to Helen Skelton, 40.

A decade ago the pair were at the Sports Personality Awards, when Sally was faced with these overly keen fans – one of whom didn’t want to give up.

He was so persistent that Helen’s dad Richard decided to step in and tell the random man to move on.

Her ‘stoic’ dad ‘rescued’ Sally, but stopped and said it was a ‘story for another day’ before Zoe Ball pushed for more information.

‘So years ago, it was 2013 and it was the Sports Personality Awards,’ the Countryfile presenter began while on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show.

She continued: ‘Sally Nugent is obviously a stunning lady, she has an army of admirers.

‘Let’s just say one bloke was getting too familiar and he kept trying to have a picture and pick her up.

‘And my lovely stoic dad stepped in and basically said, “I think that’s enough” and I think ever since that moment, my dad has been an inadvertent security guard.’

Sally was at the time married to her now-ex husband Gavin Hawthorn, 52, who she was with for 13 years before splitting in May.

The pair were said to have ‘grown apart’ but had ‘tried to tough it out for quite a while’.

Sally and Gavin have a teenage son together, so ‘didn’t want to split up if they could possibly help it for [his] sake.’

Angelina was snapped wearing a brilliant silky head scarf, alongside some glamorous pearls, leather gloves, and a chic black overcoat in one scene.

In another, the stony-faced star looked slightly more herself without the head accessory, but we still cannot get over the glasses.

It also turns out the Hollywood A-lister can even rock a bowler hat. Well, that’s not much of a shock, thinking about it.

The film, titled Maria, will reimagine the singer’s final days spent in Paris, before she died aged 53 in 1977.

Pablo Larrain’s biopic will explore the tragic events that led to the premature death of the famed soprano, who – just like the woman who is playing her – was very chic indeed.

Clothes in the film are based off Callas’ original garments, so it’s all going to be super authentic.

Larrain – who directed biopics Spencer and Jackie about Princess Diana and Jackie Kennedy – commended Angelina for bringing ‘extraordinary preparation’ to the role.

He said: ‘I am incredibly excited to start production on Maria, which I hope will bring Maria Callas’ remarkable life and work to audiences all around the world, thanks to the magnificent script by Steve Knight, the work of the entire cast and crew, and especially, Angelina’s brilliant work and extraordinary preparation.’

Of this personal opportunity, he added: ‘Having the chance to combine my two most deep and personal passions, cinema and opera, has been a long-awaited dream.

‘To do this with Angelina, a supremely brave and curious artist, is a fascinating opportunity. A true gift.’

The story will cross over with Larrain’s previous project, as Callas’ partner Aristotle Onassis left her unexpectedly to marry Jackie Kennedy.

The singer spent the last years of her life living in isolation in the French capital, before she died of a heart attack.

Angelina previously told The Hollywood Reporter in 2022: ‘I take very seriously the responsibility to Maria’s life and legacy. I will give all I can to meet the challenge.

‘Pablo Larraín is a director I have long admired. To be allowed the chance to tell more of Maria’s story with him, and with a script by Steven Knight, is a dream.’

The cast also includes Pierfrancesco Favino, Alba Rohrwacher, Haluk Bilginer, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Valeria Golino.

We don’t know yet whether Angelina will be providing her vocals for the film. But if she does, then – er – no pressure…

The film is set to be released in 2024.

Britney Spears has tapped up a mystery star to narrate her upcoming book, it has been claimed.

The Toxic singer, 41, put pen to paper for her memoir, The Woman In Me, which is set to be released on October 24.

She will be sharing her own story for the first time, delving into her shocking battle for freedom from her conservatorship, as well as the inside story on her rise to fame.

According to TMZ, the mom-of-two stopped short of recording the audio book herself, and instead landed a surprise name to get into the studio.

The outlet reports that she recorded a portion of the book and a voiceover herself, before handing over the reigns.

An insider claimed that she didn’t narrate anything to do with her family as she found those moments too painful, but it is not clear how much Britney spoke herself and who was invited to take part.

It is thought that only female celebrities were approached, but Reese Witherspoon was unavailable so another woman stepped into the booth.

The music icon confirmed her book last year, amid reports that she had signed a deal worth millions of dollars.

Fans were given a glimpse into the memoir in July, with the cover art and title unveiled ahead of the release.

Since then, Britney has faced more turmoil in her private life after husband Sam Asghari filed for divorce in August, bringing their 14-month marriage to an end.

However, sources claimed that she gave her ‘final sign-off’ on the book weeks before their split, meaning there will not be ‘any changes made’ to reflect their break-up.

While little else is known about what will make it into those final pages, The Woman In Me was described as a ‘brave and astonishingly moving story about freedom, fame, motherhood, survival, faith, and hope.’

It will ‘illuminate the enduring power of music and love – and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms.’

Jennifer Bergstrom, Gallery Books SVP and Publisher, previously added to People Magazine: ‘Britney’s compelling testimony in open court shook the world, changed laws, and showed her inspiring strength and bravery.

‘I have no doubt her memoir will have a similar impact — and will be the publishing event of the year.

‘We couldn’t be more proud to help her share her story at last.’

Machine Gun Kelly was met with a startling surprise during a live interview after a fan charged onto the stage while he was speaking.  

The 33-year-old musician was at the Cleveland Public Auditorium for the Forbes Under 30 Summit at the time of the incident. 

He was sitting in a chair opposite Kristin Stoller – who was interviewing him during the event – and was caught on film as he unexpectedly jumped to his feet, yelling, ‘Get the f**k away from me’. 

The star’s speedy reaction was provoked by a man who had made his way onto the stage and was making a beeline towards the Bloody Valentine hitmaker. 

As he stood his ground, MGK could be heard exclaiming: ‘What are you doing? What are you doing? This is a bad look. Don’t make me do this bro.’ 

The eager man was swiftly grabbed underneath his arms by security at the venue and carried off the stage, out of sight.

Taking his seat once more, the American rapper regained his composure and addressed what had just happened. 

He told the audience: ‘I’m sorry I try to live the dichotomy more on this side than on the other guy, I left that guy in the past – I’m really sorry.’  

MGK continued: ‘But here’s what I would like to say – I do apologise for my primal reaction but this was… yeah, okay…’

Helping out her interviewee as he struggled to explain himself, Kristin chimed in with: ‘You handled that amazingly by the way.’ 

The audience cheered and clapped for the star who remained silent as he visibly processed the incident for himself. 

Agreeing with the event’s host, fans took to TikTok to share their admiration for the singer’s prowess at dealing with the unsolicited attention.

One said: ‘He did handle that amazingly,’ while another wrote: ‘Handled with finesse’. 

‘I would be so shaken up.. but he handled it like a pro and gave a very inspirational interview,’ a separate account noted on the video sharing app. 

A user added: ‘You can tell he was triggered :( I love this man so much, he handled this well.’ 

According to the Forbes Instagram account, the star was giving a talk about, ‘venturing into entrepreneurship and impacting culture in music, food, fashion and beauty’, before he was interrupted.

After Justin Bieber posted an Instagram Story of a bombed Gaza with the text ‘Praying for Israel’ emblazoned over the top, it got me thinking. 

What made him feel as though it was something he needed to comment on in the first place? 

His story made it clear that he, similarly to many of us, doesn’t have a thorough understanding of the nuance, history and context of the situation needed to be able to cast judgement. 

But the cultural pressure for celebrities to speak up whenever a tragedy happens is often insurmountable and leads to clumsy errors like Bieber’s. 

Movements like Black Lives Matter and #MeToo showed us the collective importance of using our voices to make change happen. As an activist and advocate for the neurodivergent and disabled community myself, I pride myself on speaking up when it matters – and I greatly appreciate the support from others when they do the same. 

Using your platform – however large or small it might be – to support causes bigger than your own can be an honourable way to change the lives of others.

That being said, I believe that, recently, we’ve seen this expectation for celebrities in particular to loudly and proudly share their stance on cultural and political issues take a step in a harmful direction.

We have created an atmosphere in which we seem to expect people with any sort of platform to opine each and every time a major news story breaks – regardless of the knowledge or lived experience they have pertaining to the matter.

Audiences have called out their favourite celebrities, influencers and people in the public eye when they have not been vocal about where they stand on certain issues (like if they’re voting Labour or Tory, whether they’re posting #FreePalestine or #PrayforIsrael, or if they’ve donated money to war efforts in Ukraine), or when they have not publicly or visibly shown their support for marginalised groups.

While, in some cases, I think it’s vital that we call out a lack of opinion – like demanding that brands and corporates publicly share their commitments to anti-racism – in other cases, such as the ongoing conflict in Gaza, I believe it is better to leave the cultural commentary to the experts and people personally affected.

It’s why I think that this onslaught of ill-informed opinion from famous people has led to more harm than good.

For fear of being called out or cancelled for their lack of response, celebs, influencers and sports personalities alike have rushed to share something, anything, that shows their position.

However, taking to social media to share a quote or infographic – as is most often the case – might not be the revolutionary act that celebrities think it is.

It does not share the reality of the horrific fate that the civilians in both Gaza and Israel are experiencing.

And while it might spread awareness of the fact that the conflict is happening, it doesn’t actually educate anybody on the reality of the situation itself, or the historical context that has led to this point.

While I would expect to hear the thoughts of the Hadids, for example, who have a personal connection to the region, I don’t think it’s necessary for celebrities like Bieber, Kim Kardashian – who is mainly followed for her selfies, fashion, and business empire – or The Rock to say anything at all.

Because ultimately, as The Rock acknowledged, they don’t have the level of knowledge or relevant lived experience to be able to do so accurately.

The current situation in Gaza is the result of decades of conflict. Understanding it requires nuance, research into the history, and context. This takes time.

It simply cannot be summed up or done justice in one post, and dispersing this snippet to millions of followers does everyone a disservice.

When we consider the cultural sway our favourite celebrities hold, it becomes apparent that a rushed statement – whether that’s shared with good intent, or a selfish attempt to maintain appearances and avoid questioning – is not beneficial to those experiencing the conflict themselves, or those of us in the Western world who are keen to learn.

While I understand that some Palestinians and Israelis may want solidarity from celebrities, in the same way they have seen famous people jump in to defend Ukraine, I’m not sure that a viral, generic social media post is the answer – especially when it may be ill-informed.

While it is important for people to use our voices to shout out about key issues affecting the world, today we should be leaving spaces for the truly informed voices to break through and be heard.

Radio 1 DJ Greg James had the ultimate comeback for Prince William after the royal slammed his presenting abilities on Thursday. 

Addressing the jibe while hosting his show on the BBC, the 37-year-old broadcaster didn’t hold back when he offered the famous figure some choice criticism of his own. 

In the clip of the hilarious moment – which Greg shared to his social media account – Prince William told fellow BBC DJ Vick Hope, 34, that the star was ‘average’.

Chatting with the newlywed and her radio co-host Jordan North, 33, the 41-year-old prince was standing next to his wife Kate, also 41, when he explained: ‘I’ve listened to Radio 1 since I was tiny, I’ve always listened to it and I’ve heard many of you guys come and go – all the presenters over the years.

‘So I can definitely say with great purpose that Greg James is an average DJ and Jordan and Vick are the future.’ 

The video then flashed to a close up of the disgruntled star’s face in the studio and fixed on him as he reacted to the comment. 

‘I don’t really know how to… they don’t really have a go at anyone,’ the shocked presenter began. 

He continued: ‘My nan’s going to be cross! When I listened to it my initial reaction was, “Alright calm down baldy”, but you can’t say that in retaliation so I would never say that on the radio – but yeah, weird one.’ 

Greg then began reading out listener’s texts as they too responded to Prince Wiliam’s roasting.

One fan of the show suggested Greg ‘egg his house’, to which he surmised, ‘I would bloody love to egg his house’. 

Uploading the moment to his Instagram account, the star referenced the caller’s advice when he captioned his post with: ‘Where’s good to bulk buy eggs?’

Greg’s anguish didn’t go unnoticed by the palace, however, as the Instagram account for the Prince and Princess of Wales left him a lovely note underneath his video.

It penned: ‘We love you really Greg!,’ and signed it with a ‘W’, signalling the message was from Prince William. 

Elsewhere other celebrity friends wanted to join in on the joke with pop duo Jedward leaving a comment that read: ‘A humbling moment maybe someday you’ll get the seal of approval’. 

Greg’s wife Bella Mackie – who is a bestselling author – had her say and typed: ‘Barney is a republican now.’ 

His clap back came as he shared a controversial opinion of his own with Metro.co.uk and spilled his unpopular opinion on wedding destinations.

The star explained: ‘If the people who are getting married aren’t from that place, and have no connection to it, why are you basically forcing everyone to go on holiday with you?

‘We need to, you know, save some money, fly less. We don’t need to be doing that. Forcing someone to go on holiday for your wedding I think is not OK.’

Molly-Mae Hague has published what might just be her most frank vlog yet.

The former Love Island star, 24, said in one of her newest YouTube videos that she feels as though she’s in the midst of a ‘midlife crisis’ and ‘wants different things’ in life.

Filming the video in the enormous home she shares with fiancé Tommy Fury once their daughter Bambi was asleep, Molly explained: ‘I feel like, at the minute, am I having a midlife crisis?’

The doting mum added: ‘And the fact that solidifies that I’m having a midlife crisis is that I’m sat here with a colouring book and colouring pens.’

Addressing her headspace, Molly went on: ‘I just feel like I really fell off mentally. I’ve been falling off physically since having Bambi really. 

‘Mentally, physically, emotionally I just feel like I’ve been on another planet and I can’t even put my finger on why. I’ve just not been myself I don’t know why.’

‘I’m just changing and I want different things. Do you ever just feel like you don’t align with where you’re at and you suddenly want to change everything about your life?’ she added.

‘You want to change the way you look, you want to change your work, you want to change what you’re doing day to day, you want to change your routine, the way you eat, the way you work out – like literally you want to change everything.’

Molly then noted: ‘That is where I’m at right now. I just feel like it’s such a transitional moment in my life and I’m so excited.’

Molly’s moment of reflection comes after she admitted in another YouTube video that her sex drive went ‘through the roof’ during her pregnancy.

Molly said she was in the mood a lot more while she was pregnant with Bambi, who arrived in January, but boxer Tommy was ‘uncomfortable’ with the idea.

Speaking to her sister Zoe, 27, on her sibling’s YouTube channel, they chatted about having generally low sex drives.

However, Molly-Mae pointed out: ‘One thing I will add, when I was pregnant, my sex drive was through the roof.’

Zoe replied: ‘Oh really?’, and her famous sister added: ‘Yeah literally like through the roof Tommy’s wasn’t – when I was pregnant he found it a bit strange. And that’s fine, some men do.’

Zoe interjected: ‘I think I probably would.’

While reality star Molly acknowledged that ‘some men’ might be into the idea, others won’t be quite as keen.

‘Some men are really into it [sex when their partner is pregnant] or some partners will be… Tommy found it quite uncomfortable the thought that Bambi was in there and I was here,’ she said. ‘It was just a bit weird.’

Sir Rod Stewart announced he would not be playing in Saudi Arabia amid hopes his stance would ‘shine a light’ on those facing injustices there, including the LGBT+ community.

The 78-year-old singer previously said he turned down more than a million US dollars to play in Qatar before the World Cup in the Middle East country last year.

On Instagram, Sir Rod wrote: ‘I’m grateful that I have a choice whether or not to perform in Saudi Arabia. So many citizens there have extremely limited choices – women, the LGBTQ community, the press.

‘I’d like my choice not to go… to shine a light on the injustices there and ignite positive change.’ 

His statement followed a report in the Mirror which claimed the country’s human rights record is the reason Sir Rod turned down a performance there – despite being offered a ‘much higher’ amount than for the Qatar gig.

Homosexuality is illegal in Saudi Arabia and the country uses capital punishment.

In 2019, US rapper Nicki Minaj cancelled a gig in the country after she received backlash due their human rights record.

‘While I want nothing more than to bring my show to fans in Saudi Arabia, after better educating myself on the issues, I believe it is important for me to make clear my support for the rights of women, the LGBTQ community and freedom of expression,’ Nicki said in a statement to the AP news agency at the time.

Other musicians such as Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias and the Black Eyed Peas have played shows in Saudi Arabia. 

Sports personalities including former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and boxers Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have been criticised by human rights group Amnesty International for being involved with the country.

Tyson is set to fight in Riyadh on October 28 against former UFC world heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou, while Joshua faced backlash before his 2019 clash with Andy Ruiz Jr in Diriyah and ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk in Jeddah last year.

Amnesty International said it is ‘glaringly obvious’ Jordan’s move to Al-Ettifaq ‘falls squarely within Saudi Arabia’s mega-money sports-washing project’.

The footballer said in an interview with The Athletic that his decision to move to the country would help highlight the problems faced by the gay community and help bring about change.

Sir Billy Connolly has said his life has changed ‘radically’ since his Parkinson’s diagnosis.

The Scottish comedian, 80, has revealed his wife now dresses him in the morning, and he even once forgot the name of his dog.

Sir Billy was diagnosed with the degenerative brain disorder a decade ago on the same day he found out he had prostate cancer, which he later got the all clear on.

The star has opened up about how Parkinson’s – which causes uncontrollable shaking, and difficulty with balance and coordination – has changed his life, in a candid update.

He told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme: ‘My life has changed radically since the diagnosis of Parkinson’s.

‘I walk with a stick and at airports I have to get the wheelchair. I hate being dependent to that degree and I feel sorry for other people who are in wheelchairs and who have worse than me.

‘But it’s a thing I just have to put up with.

‘My wife puts my clothes on in the morning. It’s not very manly. Your mum puts your clothes on.

‘I’m clumsy and I lose my balance. I’m out of balance a lot and I fall. I’m fed up with it.

‘I think I have a good attitude to it. I say to the disease ‘”I’ll give you a break if you give me a break”. We’re nice to each other.

‘My memory is short. I forgot the name of one of my dogs, which is really awkward when you’re shouting to it in the street.

‘You have to say “Hey doggy doggy”, which is terrible. I felt embarrassed for the dog. You could tell it knew.

‘I shake a bit. I don’t shake every day, all the time. But for about an hour or two I’ll shake and when I’m drawing it spoils it.

‘Then I conquered it. I draw with shakes in it and it works.

‘I think most things can be conquered and especially the depression. Depression is such a complex affair, but you have to conquer it, take it on face-to-face and refuse to be part of it.

‘I’ve always been easily made laugh. I am a lucky man with my sense of humour. I can laugh myself out of most things.’

Having enjoyed an illustrious four-decade career in comedy, Sir Billy retired in 2018, and has since established himself as somewhat of an artist.

In an extract from his new book, published in The Telegraph, Sir Billy said he has considered what he wants to have written on his gravestone.

He wrote: ‘I was thinking I’d like: “Jesus Christ, is that the time already?” on mine, but my wife Pamela was shaky about it, so we settled on “You’re standing on my balls!” in tiny wee writing.

‘As for me – I haven’t made up my mind about my burial place, but I’m thinking that instead of a headstone, a table on an island in Loch Lomond for fishermen to picnic on would be nice.’

Sir Billy recently shared that his falls of late have been ‘serious’ having landed on his ‘jaw’ during one.

Back in 2021, Sir Billy was gutted not to be able to play the banjo or yodel anymore due to the disease. ‘It’s just a noise. I can’t yodel anymore. I can’t smoke cigars. It’s taken more and more of what I like – it’s kind of painful,’ he shared.

But he concluded, with his characteristic Scottish grit, that his approach was to ‘have a Glasgow attitude’ and ‘deal with it’.

Rambling Man is the name of Sir Billy’s new book, out today. It’s described as a ‘love letter to the locations, people and incredible adventures.’

Noel Gallagher’s wild parties caused his cats to have nervous breakdowns.

The former Oasis rocker was known for his star-studded bashes in the 90s and his London pad was even nicknamed Supernova Heights.

But while the 56-year-old’s pals had a grand old time, it sounds as though Noel’s poor moggies weren’t so keen on all the partying.

‘I had a couple of cats who had a nervous breakdown. Benson and Hedges, after the cigarettes,’ revealed Noel in a new interview.

Speaking on the Take 5 podcast, he added: ‘They were a pair of f*****g lightweights. The cats had a thousand-yard stare by the end of it.

‘They’d seen things that no feline should ever see.’

Noel – who has daughter Anais, 23, with first wife Meg Matthews, and sons Donovan, 16, and Sonny, 13, with estranged wife Sara MacDonald – sold the house in 2005 but said he’ll always look back at that time in his life with fondness.

‘They were great times, it was an open house. I look back on it as just really fun, happy, hedonistic, carefree times,’ Noel noted, adding: ‘I didn’t have any kids. It was great. That period from 1998, there were a couple of years that were a bit turbulent but I enjoyed it.’

Noel’s feline confession comes after he admitted that he would be keen to revive his former band Oasis despite his long feud with his ex-band member and brother Liam Gallagher.

Noel and 50-year-old Liam’s band imploded in 2009, but back in August, the former insisted they would both be part of the line-up if the band ever reformed.

The star is said to have confirmed their togetherness in the face of a revival during a Q&A at The Rose Theatre in Kingston. 

According to NME, when asked by an audience member during a recent chat about who should be included in an Oasis reunion line-up, Noel replied: ‘So me…Liam…Well, it’s a funny thing because we’re all at a certain age now. 

‘Hair was a thing in Oasis, so we’ll have to see what everybody’s hair is looking like. I’m in no matter what. This is not f****** going anywhere. I don’t know. Look. Me, Liam and a load of f****** fit birds.’

Peter Andre has confirmed that he and his wife Emily are set to become parents once again, with a new arrival due in 2024.

The 50-year-old broke the happy news on Instagram with a snap of Emily, 34, holding up ultrasounds as he said: ‘We are delighted to share the news with you all. A new addition to our family in 2024 The kids are so excited. So are we.’

Writing in OK! Magazine late last year he said: ‘With Theo growing up so fast it does bring up the question of having another baby.

He added: ‘When your youngest is no longer little it makes you think about the baby stage, but that’s always going to be the case when you have another baby too, and you could just keep going!

Speaking on Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To podcast in July, the Mysterious Girl singer shared: ‘Children… I was like, when I get to 50 I’m done and then I find myself having conversations with [Emily] going, “Yeah you know, if we did have another child, where would we put Junior?”‘.

When did Peter Andre and Emily meet?

Peter and Emily first met under bizarre circumstances after he underwent an emergency operation for kidney stones.

Emily, who was a 20-year-old medical student at the time, is the daughter of his then consultant Dr Ruaraidh MacDonagh – as Peter explained to Cornwall Live.

‘It’s the most bizarre thing. I had to have an emergency operation on a kidney in Taunton. I wasn’t even in the area but I was transferred there and the on-call consultant was Emily’s dad.’

‘I was so grateful that I said, ‘if there’s anything I can ever do…’. I later got him a couple of tickets for the Plymouth show, but he couldn’t make it so his wife Rebecca came along with their daughter, Emily.’

The couple got to know each other as a result and began dating in 2012.

When did Peter Andre and Emily marry?

Peter and Emily married on 11 July 2015 in Exeter at Mamhead House.

The couple later revealed their celebrations included Greek plate smashing, African drumming, and a whole load of fireworks. Oh and of course Pete performed himself.

The 46-year-old told OK! magazine at the time: ‘I wanted so much entertainment as I didn’t want any waiting around or lulls in the day. I wanted people to be surprised the whole time!’

Among the frivolities, Peter also paid an emotional homage to his late brother Andrew, who sadly died of cancer in 2012.

He said at the time: ‘We’re going to be positive about this and I’d like to raise a toast to my brother Andrew – we love him very much and we’re thinking of him tonight, and miss him always.’

Peter has previously given fans a glimpse inside their home on the Andres YouTube channel two years ago which saw the house decorated for Christmas.

Kim Kardashian has faced furious backlash over her social media statement on the Israel-Hamas war.

Palestinian militant group Hamas launched attacks on Israel on Saturday that have now led to a war being declared that has claimed at least 2,100 lives on both sides.

Numerous stars have shared messages of support for those affected, including Noah Schnapp, Jamie Lee Curtis, Amy Schumer, Gal Gadot, and Gigi Hadid who was praised for her ‘educated’ response.

Reality star Kim, 42, has spoken out about Hamas’ attack upon Israel, saying she has been left ‘devastated’ by the ‘horrific images’ seen around the world but wants those suffering to know they are ‘not alone’ amid the terror.

In a statement posted to Instagram, she said: ‘A message to my Jewish friends and family. I love you. I support you. I have heard about how scared you feel during this time, and I want you to know you are not alone in this.

‘My heart is broken seeing the videos of these babies and families being terrorized and murdered in front of the whole world! As human beings with a heart, how can anyone not be devastated by these horrific images that we will never be able to unsee? Brutal terrorism has taken innocent lives and now both Israeli and Palestinian civilians are suffering and paying the greatest price there is.

‘As an Armenian, I am particularly sensitive to these issues because I have been talking about the Armenian Genocide for years, and now, after months of blockade with minimal media coverage and no external support.

‘Armenians are the victims of an ethnic cleansing themselves in Artsakh. They are in this moment also suffering from an extreme humanitarian crisis, and there are still prisoners of war being held captive or missing.’

The Kardashians star went on to urge her 364million followers to remember that they should ‘always have room for compassion towards innocent victims’ who are just caught up in the anarchy.

She continued: ‘No matter who’s side you are on, or how you have been triggered by the horrors of these past few days, our hearts should always have room for compassion towards innocent victims caught in the crosshairs of warring over power, politics, religion, race, and ethnicity.

‘Although I know there is nothing, I can do to personally get rid of the pain of those who are suffering, my family and I are praying for the safe return of hostages, for those that have died and their affected families, for peace for all the innocent, and for the perpetrators of this indefensible violence to be brought to justice.’

Kim concluded her statement by tasking her followers to ‘reach out’ to their loved ones to check in on them and begged them not to ‘judge’ others on whether they choose to speak out in a time of crisis.

She said: ‘My call to action today, something that we can all do, is simply to reach out to your friends, colleagues, and those in your community, those who are hurting, no matter what side they are on, check in on them and tell them you love them.

‘I also ask that, during difficult times like these, not to judge who is or isn’t speaking out, because everyone should be allowed to deal with times of crisis in the way that they feel most comfortable, whether it be privately or publicly.

‘Prayers and Peace always.’

Her post has caused outrage online, with many pointing out the murky relationship between Israel and the systemic massacres and deportations of Armenians committed by the Ottoman Empire during and after the First World War.

Israel does not officially recognise the Armenian genocide which reportedly stems from the country’s unique relationship with Turkey and has bolstered their ability to not recognise the genocide. Relations further soured between Armenia and Israel when Armenia withdrew its ambassador to Israel due to Israeli arms supply to Azerbaijan in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh War.

Social media users blasted Kim as having ‘worms for brains’ amid her post as well as claiming she is ‘out of touch’ with her response.

‘Kim Kardashian chimes in on Israel & Palestine. A very interesting statement given as she says she’s sensitive to those affected by ethnic cleansing,’ one user wrote.

‘i need to know if anyone looked over kim kardashian’s post about israel before she posted it because…….,’ another added.

Kim has been accused of ‘jumping on a bandwagon’ with some saying she is ‘ignorant’ of the situation and ‘hypocritical’

Others were angry she had referenced Armenia in a post about Israel and Hamas and made the conflict ‘about herself.’

‘Kim Kardashian talking about Armenia & saying “no matter who’s side you’re on” in a post about Palestine and Israel is wild,’ one began.

‘Because why are we talking about sides like it’s a game of tennis?? Why is Armenia in the picture? Who told these celebrities their opinion is needed?’

Another added: ‘Kim Kardashian doesn’t care about Israel or Palestine she made this all about herself 😂😂.’

‘So Kim Kardashian not only decides to show clear support to Israel during this time but then goes on to make it about herself and the Armenian genocide, like Palestinians haven’t experienced their own genocide for decades. Not to mention all the third grade grammar errors 🥴,’ one scathingly wrote.

Others have praised Kim’s approach to the subject, with one user saying: ‘Kim’s statement is better than many other celebrities on this issue. Still not ideal, but smarter.’

Kim’s sister Kylie Jenner has faced backlash over her own now-deleted social media post showing support for Israel.

The beauty mogul, 26, reposted a photo from the nonprofit organisation Stand With Us, which read: ‘Now and always, we stand with the people of Israel!’ but it was soon removed from her account.

It’s believed Kylie took down the post after critics descended on the comments section under her Instagram photos.

Justin Bieber’s input in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict has been slammed after he posted a photo of buildings reduced to rubble in Gaza with the message ‘praying for Israel.’

Palestinian militant group Hamas launched attacks on Israel on October 7 that have now led to a conflict that has claimed at least 2,100 lives on both sides.

Israel has now declared war, with many stars airing their views on the escalating violence including Noah Schnapp, Jamie Lee Curtis, Amy Schumer, and Gal Gadot.

Baby hitmaker Bieber, 29, posted his own message of support for Israel on his Instagram Stories but has faced backlash after a photo he included was actually of Gaza, a narrow piece of Palestinian land bordering Israel.

He has since deleted the post and replaced it with the same message on a plain background.

Bieber also shared his thoughts more in-depth on his Stories, writing: ‘Truly hurting for both my Israeli and Palestinian friends. Im pretty sure we all instinctively know evil when we see it. To vilianize all Palestinians or all Israeli people to me seems wrong. I’m not interested in choosing sides, but i am interested in standing with the families who have been brutally taken from us.’

His gaffe didn’t go unnoticed online with fans slamming his mistake and branding him ‘out of touch.’

One user posted on X (formerly Twitter): ‘Justin Bieber posting “praying for Israel” using a picture of a destroyed Gaza is actually insane.’

Others slammed the popstar for simply deleting the post and ‘ignoring’ what had been said, rather than ‘owning up’ to the mistake.

‘Why does every celebrity have to make a statement, why do we need to know what Justin Bieber thinks about Israel?’ another asked.

‘“Celebrities” like Justin Bieber and Jamie Lee Curtis posting “I stand with israel” and including pictures of death and destruction in Gaza….then taking the posts down after being told they’re photos of Gaza. Hypocrisy on steroids,’ one agreed.

Another didn’t just criticise Bieber, but called for American celebrities to ‘shut up’, writing: ‘Jamie lee Curtis posting a pic of children from Gaza looking up at Israelis bombs, but thought it was Israeli children.

‘Justin Bieber posting a pic of bombed Gaza, thinking it was Israel. Noah Schnapp calling all Palestinians terrorists. Can American celebs shut up please.’

Some questioned how much Bieber and other celebrities knew about the conflict or whether they could ‘point to Palestine or Israel on a map.’

Gigi Hadid, meanwhile, has been praised for her ‘educated’ statement regarding the war between Israel and Hamas.

In her post to her 79.2million followers on Instagram, the model, 28, wrote: ‘My thoughts are with all those affected by this unjustifiable tragedy and every day that innocent lives are taken by this conflict – too many of which are children.

‘I have deep empathy and heartbreak for the Palestinian struggle and life under occupation, it’s a responsibility I hold daily.

‘I also feel a responsibility to my Jewish friends to make it clear, as I have before: While I have hopes and dreams for Palestinians, none of them include the harm of a Jewish person.

‘The terrorizing of innocent people is not in alignment with & does not do any good for the ‘Free Palestine’ movement.

‘The idea that it does has fuelled a painful, decades-long cycle of back & forth retaliation (which no innocent civilian, Palestinian or Israeli, deserves to be a casualty of) and helps perpetuate the false idea that being Pro-Palestine = antisemitic.’

The model continued: ‘If you are hurting as I share my condolences today with my loved ones, both Palestinian and Jewish, I’m sending you my love and strength – whoever and wherever you are.

‘There are a lot of complex, personal and valid feelings, but every human deserves basic rights, treatment and security; no matter their nationality, religion, ethnicity or where they were born.

‘I know my words will never be enough or heal the deep wounds of so many, but I pray for the safety of innocent lives, always.’

Jada Pinkett Smith has revealed exactly what she said to her husband Will Smith in the moments after he slapped Chris Rock across the face at 2022’s Oscars.

During the ceremony, Will, 55, famously jumped on stage and hit 58-year-old comedian Chris over a joke he made about Jada’s shaved head.

Speaking 18 months later, 52-year-old actress Jada said she initially thought the interaction was a skit before confirming the three words she said to Will after the incident.

‘I thought, “This is a skit”,’ explained Jada. ‘I was like, “There’s no way that Will hit him”.’

Speaking to People, she also revealed her first words to Will were: ‘Are you OK?’

Will was angered by Chris’ remarks as Jada’s shaved head is due to alopecia.

As he walked away from Chris after striking him, Will famously raged: ‘Keep my wife’s name out of your f*****g mouth.’

Just minutes later, the A-lister went on to win the Academy Award for best actor thanks to his performance in King Richard.

However, Will ended up being banned from Academy events for an entire decade.

Jada also told the outlet she only realised it wasn’t a skit when Will started ‘walking back to his chair’.

Elsewhere in the bombshell interview, doting mum Jada revealed she and Will have actually been separated since 2016.

The couple, who tied the knot in 1997 and share children Willow and Jaden Smith, have attracted speculation over their marriage for years.

The rumormill went into overdrive when the Scream 2 actress shared that she had been involved in an ‘entanglement’ with August Alsina during the course of their relationship.

And this week, Jada said she quietly split from the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actor in 2016 and they have been living ‘completely separate lives’ ever since.

‘We’re still figuring it out. We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together,’ Jada confirmed.

‘We just got deep love for each other and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us.’
