Attention all Black Honey lovers: the viral Clinique lipstick’s little sister is now available in the UK – and she’s gorgeous.

There’s no denying it: everyone and their nan has seen the viral Clinique Black Honey Almost Lipstick doing the rounds on the internet since bursting back into the limelight a few years ago.

We’re not surprised either, as the lippie, which has a lightweight formula that can be built up or kept as a sheer wash of colour, truly looks good on everyone.

We’d tag it one of those universal lipsticks because the colour seems to melt into any skin tone, leaving a gorgeous, just-bitten hue that gives a slightly different finish on everyone.

But we digress – being obsessed with Black Honey is only part of the reason we’re here writing this today.

We’re even more excited about the release of Clinique’s new Almost Lipstick, Black Honey’s gorgeous little sister – Pink Honey.

Naturally, we had to try it to see if it lived up to the hype.

Boasting the same emollient-rich, satin finish as Black Honey but in a gorgeous soft pink shade, Pink Honey is the no-lipstick-lippie you’ll want to have in your arsenal heading into autumn.

Juicy and lightweight with a glossy-satin finish, Pink Honey is buildable while offering an understated, soft look that’s perfectly suited to any occasion.

Also, like Black Honey, Pink Honey merges with the unique natural tone of your lips to create a look that is unique to you. Now that’s special.

For me, the soft pink finish gave me a your-lips-but-better look that I absolutely adored. As someone with fair skin, I’m always looking for a lipstick that’ll give me a sweet and flattering wash of colour without washing me out, and Pink Honey does just that.

The lipstick glides on easily and offers buildability that I layered on to create a bold but delicate pink that’s perfect for every day as well as special occasions where you want a subtle lip.

It also boasts a balm-like finish, which, for someone who’s addicted to lip balm, bodes extremely well for my easily dried lips.

I was shocked at how beautiful the Black Honey lipstick looked on me – especially alongside my pale skin.

The coveted ‘Almost Lipstick’ formula means that it’s super easy to tell the two lipsticks are related. Black Honey glides on just as easily- equally as buildable but creating a much darker, berry-toned hue.

I’m not usually one to opt for berry lip shades, but I was shocked at how beautiful the lipstick looked on me – especially alongside my pale skin. It was sophisticated, warm yet cool, and utterly wearable.
